Marvin Crummer had an early interest in cartooning, and had sold his first cartoon to a national magazine when still in high school. While attending art school he worked as a free lance cartoonist, and was a contributing artist to his hometown newspaper, “The San Clemente Sun.”
Over the years his interest turned away from cartooning and toward painting landscapes and seascapes. He is represented in many private collections throughout the United States, and has won many awards for his work, including “Best In Show” at the 2006 Tri-County competition.
