David Paul Cook - painting
David Paul is an avid outdoor painter and teacher. Most of his paintings are transparent watercolors, executed on location. Scenes along the Arkansas River, in the Delta, at Pinnacle Mountain and Petit Jean State Parks, and White Wagon Farm are among his favorite locations.
David studied art at Studio San Damiano in Milwaukee, at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, and with a private teacher in Kansas City, Mo. Since 2004, David has taught beginning and intermediate students at Sage House at White Wagon Farm. David is the Landscape Painting Instructor at Arkansas Arts Center’s Museum School in Little Rock since 2002. He is Past-President of the Arkansas League of Artists, and a past board member of the Mid-South Watercolorists and the Conway League of Artists.
