Tom Herrin has always been interested in art. He began painting watercolors over 30 years
ago in Corpus Christi, Texas, influenced by the architects, landscape architects, urban planners
and artists he worked with. After moving to Arkansas 30 years ago, he has retired from his
private consulting practice and spends most of his time painting.
Tom has been a recipient of the Vinebrook Award for the body of his work. He was slelected
as Best of Show at the Artist in the Forest show in both 2003 and 2004
Watercolor painting is Tom's way of expressing emotions, feelings, and ideas about the world
he lives in. Tom's paintings are his way of telling viewers how he feels about the subject,
figures, and abstractions he depicts in his paintings.
